Welcome to The Home Page of the East Peoria High School National Honor Society East Peoria, Illinois EPCHS National Honor Society
is open to all seniors who have attended EPCHS at least
three semesters prior to application and have a total number of 714 honor points
or better for the first
seven semesters of high school.
The East Peoria High School Chapter
of the National Honor Society was founded in 1953 by the former superintendent
Mr. Byron Moore. Seniors are eligible to apply for membership based
on the scholarship criterion mentioned above. Those who choose to apply
are selected based on an evaluation of character, leadership and service.
Those selected are named at an all-school assembly and then later inducted
in a formal candlelight ceremony. Membership in the National
Honor Society is considered to be one of the highest honors which the seniors
of East Peoria High School are able to attain.
