National Honor Society
East Peoria, Illinois

EPCHS National Honor Society is open to all seniors
who have attended EPCHS at least three semesters prior to application and have a total number of 714 honor points or better
for the first seven semesters of high school.

The East Peoria High School Chapter of the National Honor Society was founded in 1953 by the former superintendent Mr. Byron Moore.  Seniors are eligible to apply for membership based on the scholarship criterion mentioned above. Those who choose to apply are selected based on an evaluation of character, leadership and service.  Those selected are named at an all-school assembly and then later inducted in a formal candlelight ceremony.  Membership in the  National Honor Society is considered to be one of the highest honors which the seniors of East Peoria High School are able to attain.
