History
In 1997, the Vocational Development classes
were implemented at East Peoria Community High School. Students learned
business fundamentals and produced craft items to be sold for non-profit.
Since that time, various grant monies have enabled the Vocational Development
classes to embark on their own small, not -for -profit business endeavor.
Students utilize the latest computer technology to produce and sell personalized
items. They are responsible for the daily operations of business, such
as maintaining the inventory, creating novel items, and taking and
filling personalized orders. Continued grant support allows the school
to purchase additional technology, always expanding the learning opportunities
of the students in the Vocational Development classes. |
