Student Parking Policy

 

Any student who drives a vehicle to school and parks in one of the two school parking lots must register his/her vehicle and obtain a parking pass. Only junior and senior students will be issued parking passes. Sophomores may park on Rosedale Avenue Hill at no cost.

The pass itself is a hang tag and may be moved to and from any vehicle the student chooses to drive as long as it is owned or leased by that student or that student's parent or guardian. The cost of the parking pass is $25.00 and is valid for the 2011-2012 school year. If a parking pass is lost or stolen a replacement may be purchased for $5.00. Students are required to have a parent or guardian sign the Student Parking Registration form with Student Services initials as a pass cannot be issued until all outstanding balances have been paid. Student Parking Registration forms may be picked up from the school resource/security officer.

Students who park in the school parking lot do so at their own risk. The district is not responsible for lost or stolen property or damage that may occur while the student is parked in either of the lots or off campus. All Student Parking Registration forms must include the make, model, year, and color of the vehicles that will be parked in the student parking lots. The license plate number is not needed as the permits issued are hang tags.
